After you are comfortable with this, you may want to let go of this kind of counting internally. Then just be aware of the breath. You may want to do the practice for a certain amount of time, such as five minutes. Or you may want to do a certain number of breaths, such as 10-20 times (exhale 10-20 times; inhale 10-20 times)
